Well, this blogging thing seems like the thing to do. The way I figure it, this will be good for my mother and sister to see what's going on up here in Boise, since they have the ancient form of internet, and it takes forever for them to see emailed pictures.
Our little family lives in Boise, Idaho, in a fun neighborhood, in a lovely home that Ryan built. We live within 10 minutes of the capitol and downtown, within 5 minutes of the mall, Walmart, and any fast food restaurant you can imagine. It can be overwhelming, and also a little costly on the budget. With all of these amenities, it's no wonder that we're not completely broke, and 50 lbs overweight. The problem we face most is having Bobbi's family living in Malad, and Utah. A complete Momma's girl, and homebody like Bobbi misses her family a lot, especially since Hadlee doesn't get to see her Grandma/pa, aunts/uncles, and cousins. We travel down a lot, and hope to go more in the future. The most important thing is that we're content, and love this time in our life.
Hadlee is now 5 months, loves her mom and dad, (perhaps too much, since she doesn't do well with babysitters!) and is beginning to eat solids. She has just recently sat up on her own, and loves her jumper. She reaches for everything, especially faces. Both Ryan and Bobbi can't believe how much they love Hadlee, and every stage. (even the bad ones so far!)
Ryan keeps busy with work, scouting, and Hadlee. Almost every moment he is home, the two are together playing, talking or taking naps. Bobbi loves to watch them interact, Ryan is an awesome dad.
Bobbi is staying home with the Babe, it's a quiet time for her, and she's always up for something fun. She tries to go running everyday, but it's extremely hard to be motivated to run on a treadmill. She loves being a mom, and is excited for spring, when all of the outdoor fun begins!
