Sweet Summer!

We've definitely been busy this summer. Hadlee is growing fast, almost taken her 1st step unassisted, having tantrums, eating everything, crawling and climbing stairs faster than I could. Ryan is adjusting to Malad, I can't say he loves it here yet, maybe someday. I'm busy with cross country already, and working a little at the business. Hadlee loves the dogs June 08'

The 4th of July was fun. We went to the Malad Parade, stayed home with Laney and Nate during the day, and went to the Fireworks (Hadlee doesn't like the loud ones!) Hadlee and Dad at Parade Kevin and Hadlee at the Parade Gathering candy from parade

A week following the 4th, we went up the the Condo in McCall for the week. There we ate tons, swam, golfed, visited, went for ice cream, hiked. Imagine 19+ people in a 3 Bedroom condo, people were strung out everywhere. We had a great time, even though the stomach flu made it's way through all of the nieces/nephews. Every night, some one was puking, and not always in the toilet! We survived, escaping with only a good sunburn and sleep deprivation. Pictures to Come..

I also got to go on a alleged 35 mile, 4 day, leisure hike with Maryann, and Nicona Sweeten Venable. We had a good time, except for the undetailed map not showing many of the switchbacks, or the extreme heights which we hiked. The trail ended up being 57 miles, and a 5,000 ft. ascention over 11 miles which is INSANE! We lived to tell our story and hiked across Idaho, so you'll have to ask me the details.

Other than those vacations, we're enjoying the summer, Malad and our families. Hadlee's 1st birthday is coming up, so we'll keep you updated.
